Hunter Goalkeeping Academy – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with Hunter Goalkeeping Academy (HGA). By registering for training, clinics, or events, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • Services Provided

    • HGA delivers private and group goalkeeper coaching to develop skills, confidence, and performance.

    • Sessions are conducted with due care and skill, consistent with obligations under Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

    • Training blocks and holiday clinics are delivered within a reasonable timeframe as advertised.

  • Payments & Bookings

    • All bookings must be confirmed through HGA’s booking system

    • Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.

    • Pre-paid session blocks must be used within the period specified at purchase (e.g., 10-session blocks within the 10 weeks).

  • Cancellations & Refunds

    Weekly Training Sessions

    • Participants may cancel or reschedule up to 48 hours prior without penalty.

    • Cancellations within 48 hours or non-attendance will result in the session being forfeited.

    • No refunds or credits will be issued unless there are exceptional circumstances (e.g., medical emergency), at HGA’s discretion.

    Holiday Clinics & Special Events

    • Cancellations must be made at least 5 days prior to receive a refund or credit.

    • Cancellations within 5 days will result in the fee being forfeited.

    • Non-attendance without notice will be treated as a forfeited booking.

    Cancellations by HGA

    • If HGA cancels a session, participants will be offered:

      • A rescheduled session, or

      • A credit towards future training, or

      • A refund (except in the case of the block session clause below).

    Block Sessions (10-Session Packages)

    • HGA strives to deliver all sessions in a block.

    • HGA reserves the right to cancel up to one session per 10-session block, with remedy limited to a make-up session or credit (no refund).

    • If more than one session is cancelled per block, participants are entitled to a refund, reschedule, or credit, in line with ACL rights.

  • Ordering & Payment

    • All merchandise purchases must be paid in full at the time of order, unless otherwise agreed.

    • Prices include GST (if applicable) and are listed in Australian Dollars.

    Delivery & Collection

    • Products may be collected at training sessions or shipped to an agreed address (shipping fees may apply).

    • Delivery times will be advised at the time of purchase.

    Returns & Refunds (ACL-Compliant)

    • Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if a product is:

      • Faulty or defective

      • Not as described or advertised

      • Unfit for purpose

    • Refunds are not provided for:

      • Change of mind

      • Wrong size chosen (unless exchange is available)

      • Normal wear and tear from sporting use

    Exchanges

    • Exchanges for size may be available if the product is unworn, unused, and in its original packaging, subject to stock availability.

    • Customers are responsible for return postage unless the product is faulty.

  • Health & Safety

    • Participants must disclose any relevant medical conditions prior to training.

    • Players must wear suitable clothing and equipment (goalkeeper gloves, boots, shin pads).

    • Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising children before and after sessions.

    • Football carries an inherent risk of injury. While HGA takes all reasonable precautions, participation is at the player’s own risk.

    • HGA cannot exclude liability for injuries caused by negligence, consistent with ACL.

  • Media & Privacy

    • Photos and videos may be taken during sessions for coaching and promotional purposes.

    • Parents/guardians may opt out by notifying HGA in writing.

    • Personal and medical information collected will be kept secure and used only for booking, training, sales, and safety purposes.

  • Minors

    • Participants under 18 must have a parent/guardian complete the booking on their behalf.

    • Consent is required for participation, medical disclosure, and (if applicable) media use

  • Complaints & Disputes

    • Concerns should be raised directly with HGA staff for resolution.

    • If a matter cannot be resolved, participants and customers retain their rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including escalation to NSW Fair Trading or the equivalent regulator.

  • Agreement

    By booking or purchasing from Hunter Goalkeeping Academy, you confirm that you:

    • Have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

    • Accept the cancellation, refund, and returns policies.

    • Acknowledge the risks associated with football participation.

    • Provide accurate personal and medical information for safety purposes.
